4. Fitting the stopper: Line up the lugs
on the stopper with the holes on the lid,
insert and turn it until it locks.
Important: This blender is fitted with a
dual safety device that stops the motor
from starting if either the jug or the lid are
not fitted correctly.
USE
Make sure that none of the controls are
switched on. Place the ingredients into
the jug but without going above the 1.4
litre mark.
Select the most suitable speed:
t (P) Pulse speed: Crush ice, milkshakes.
t (3) Maximum speed: Shred vegetables,
cocktails, compotes, etc.
t (2) Medium speed: Mix pancake
batters, sauces, etc.
t (1) Minimum speed: Mix readytmade
ingredients, etc.
t (0) Stop
Should you wish to add more food during
the process, then do it via the mouth on
the lid (fig. 4).
Press the stop button to switch it off. Do
not try to take the jug off the main body if
the motor is still running.
Warnings:
• Do not operate the blender if it is
empty.
• If you have to stir in food that is stuck to
the sides of the jug, switch the appliance
off first. The blades may continue to
rotate for a moment longer. Keep spoons
or spatulas a good distance away from
the blades to avoid accidents.
• Continuous
operation
appliance for more than 3 minutes is not
recommended. After this amount of time
let motor rest for a few minutes before
switching the blender back on.
• For better results when shredding
solid foods, cut it up into small pieces
beforehand.
• Add a cup of liquid when mixing dry
ingredients or crushing ice.
• Do not pour very hot liquids into the
jug.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning any part on the blender
press the stop button and unplug the
appliance from the mains supply.
After each use, use warm soapy water to
wash all of the elements which have been
in contact with the food. Take great care
when cleaning the blades.
Use just a damp cloth to wipe down
the motor housing. When storing the
appliance, coil up the cable on the cable
coiler located on the base of the motor
housing.
