Always check that the protective guard
can be moved freely and that the closure
mechanism works correctly before use. Do
not use the saw if this is not the case.
Never use the guards to carry or lift the saw.
Always keep the spindle and � anges used for
mounting the saw blades clean.
Never allow the blade to be in contact with
the item to be cut or other objects when
starting up the saw.
Check that there are no nails, screws or other
objects that could damage the blade in the
item to be cut, and that there are no similar
obstructions in the surface beneath the item.
Secure round objects to be sawn using
clamps or similar, as the rotation of the blade
may cause them to spin.
Do not use for routing or milling unless the
appropriate guards are � tted above the
bench, and never use for notching.
Do not use the saw for sawing items larger
than the dimensions stated under 'Cutting
capacity' in the Technical Data.
Replace the bench inlay once it is worn.

Assembly and preparation

Fitting the blade guard (� g. 2)
Lower the blade guard (2) over the cleaver
blade (5) and push it forward so that the
screw engages with the cut-out hole at the
top of the cleaver blade. Tighten the screw.
It must be possible to tip the blade guard
upward when the work piece touches it, and
it must then tip down again once the work
piece has been sawn.
