Adjusting the mitre angle (� g. 4)
Push the mitre guide into one of the grooves
on the workbench.
Adjust the mitre guide to the required
angle using the angle gauge and tighten it
securely.
Adjusting the saw depth (� g. 5)
Turn the knob (11) to raise or lower the saw
blade. The saw blade should protrude no
more than 3 mm over the upper surface of
the item to be cut. Remember to adjust the
cleaver blade correspondingly.
Adjusting the bevel angle (� g. 6)
The tilt of the saw blade can be freely
adjusted from 0 to 45 degrees. Loosen the
lock knob (14) and turn the knob (12) to
adjust the bevel angle. Retighten the lock
knob. The angle can be read off the bevel
scale (13).
Calibrating the bevel angle scale (� g. 7)
Unplug the appliance.
Set the saw blade to the maximum saw
depth.
Adjust the saw blade so that it is vertical.
Check with a try square that the saw blade is
perpendicular to the workbench.
Loosen the screw by the indicator on the
bevel scale and adjust the indicator to 0°.
Retighten the screw.
Adjusting the parallel guide (� g. 8-9)
Use the parallel guide (7) when you make a
cut along the item.
The parallel guide can be set to the right or
to the left of the saw blade.

Loosen the � nger screws for the parallel
guide and push it to the required position.
Retighten the � nger screws.
Place the rail on the parallel guide.
For thick work pieces, turn as shown in � gure
8.
For thin work pieces, turn as shown in � gure
9.
Use (� g. 10-13)
Place the item to be cut on the workbench,
and against the parallel guide or mitre guide.
For broad work pieces, open out the bench
extension (18) and unfold the support legs
(19).
Switch on the saw at the on/off switch (10),
and allow the blade to reach full speed.
Feed the item in with a smooth, sliding
movement. Do not put pressure on the saw.
Switch the saw off immediately if the blade
jams or gets stuck in the item being cut. If
the blade gets stuck, it can cause the item to
violently kick back towards the user. Never
stand directly behind the saw blade when
sawing.
Never pull the item backwards while the saw
is running. Instead, turn the saw off using
the on/off switch and allow the blade to stop
completely before removing the item.

Overload protection

This circular bench saw is equipped with
overload protection, which will switch the
saw off if it is overloaded.
If this occurs, unplug the bench saw from
the mains, allow it to cool down for a
few minutes and then press the overload
protection button (17).
