4.5 Parental Lock

Press the [OK] button once the parental lock option is highlighted. A
dialogue box will appear, where you will be asked to enter the pass-
word ('0000' by default). Once the password has been correctly ente-
red the following screen will appear:
1. Menu lock: allows the user to lock the following menus with a pass-
word: channel edit / installation / tools.
2. Channel lock: allows the user to lock some channels with a pass-
word. If you configure it to 'yes', the password will be requested when
tuning in to channels that have been marked as locked.
3. New password: you can change the password by entering a new
one in this option. After entering the 4 digits of the password, confirm
them by entering them again. If the password is correct, a message
will be shown on the screen saying that the data is being saved and
asking you to wait. After saving, the system configuration menu will
return and the new password will be active.
4. Press the [Exit] button to exit the parental lock menu.
