Cancelling the entire memory content:

At this point the entire memory content has been cancelled and the receiver has been reset to factory
settings.
Transmitter information
When the receiver detects the activation of a transmitter it proceeds to activate the relay that corresponds
to the channel that has been received. The following information appears on the LCD screen:
This information remains on the display for a maximum of four seconds.
GSM card
A dedicated card that permits the receiver to hook up to a GSM mobile network and allows it to access
a series of remote control functions.
To connect to a GSM mobile network a telephone SIM card for data traffic is required.
The details for the installation and management of the GSM connection are explained in detail in the
software instruction manual which can be downloaded from the Software Download Centre on the
website www.cardin.it
GSM modem functions
The modem onboard the receiver "GSM CARD fig. 1" uses the mobile phone network to manage the
user codes stored in the receiver working together with the PGM449SW software and can also directly
activate the individual channels (relays) by calling them directly or via SMS.
The management of the modem functions can be found in the GSM receiver menu "6) MODEM". Some
of the options are always present and others will be enabled according to the status of the modem.
The modem functions are:
• Data connection via telephone call
A direct hook up is made with the receiver, similar to a USB, connection, which allows you to manage
the user codes and to set the functions of the receiver by means of the software PGM449SW.
• Directly activating a channel via telephone call
It is possible to activate one or more channels by calling the telephone number of the SIM on board the
modem. A validated call will be interrupted after the first 'ring' without answering therefore there are no
communications costs.
• Directly activating a channel via SMS
You can activate one or more channels via SMS, and , if required, you may receive an answer giving the
status of the channels.
Table summarizing the status of the connections and the modem
When the receiver is awaiting a command an acronym, relating to the status of the modem and eventual
connections in course, will appear in brackets, in the upper right hand corner of the display.
The indications that can appear are shown in the following table:
ENT

"P" : memory location
"A" : Channel received then activated
