Once the UTM, has been configured, it is able to work completely in stand-alone
mode. Its configuration can be modified through remote control, for that reason it is not
necessary to integrate a user interface such as a monitor, keyboard...
To transmit data to the remote monitoring point, the ProWatch
communication port that allows to obtain the system state, the alarms produced by
anomalies or receive the configuration data.
Each UTM has a monitoring and control instruction pack which make easy the
configuration and control from a Remote Control unit (UCR, PC with Windows XP)
using the serial or Ethernet port. When the UCR establishes the communication with the
UTM its could carry out the following operations:

Obtain data of the measures in course.
•
Obtain data of the alarms and the monitored system.
•
Obtain data of the UTM state and the monitored system.
•
UTM configuration.
