C.Fitting and Removing the Blades
• This processor has a unique blade-lock system. It is designed to
keep the blade in place during use and when pouring out the
preparations. Handle the blades with caution.
• Plug the unit in and position the bowl(s) as described under
section 3A.
• Holding the blade by its central nylon hub, carefully lift the
chopping/mixing blade and place on the central shaft. Hold the
large blade by its upper section, align the guide on top of the
blade with the motor shaft and push the blade down until you
hear a click confirming that the blade is in place.

• To use the rapid preparation bowl, with the 3 bowls assembled,
put the adapter on the motor shaft and press down. Carefully
lift and place the small chopping/mixing blade onto the adapter
and align the guide-markers. Then press down until you hear a
click confirming that the blade is in place.

note: Position the blade before adding the ingredients.

• Attach the lid and the pushers as described under sections 3F
and 3G.
note: Wait until the blade has stopped turning before you remove
the lid.
• To remove the blade, grasp the upper part and lift the blade
releasing it from the motor shaft.
Caution: the blade is extremely sharp.
D. Fitting and Removing the Discs
note: The discs may only be used with the XL and XXL bowls.
• Plug the unit in and attach the bowl(s) as described under
section 3A.
• To use the XL or XXL bowl, place the adapter on the motor shaft
and press down to lock in.
• Select the disc and place it on the adapter.
• The slicing disc is fully adjustable from 16 positions. Simply
adjust the disc's rotating hub according to the guide markers to
select the desired slicing thickness.
