User Interface
The user interface is used to preselect the
speed and to indicate the status of the power
tool (Fig. 7).
PRESELECTING THE SPEED/
IMPACT RATE
With the button 14 you can preselect the
required speed/impact rate in three stages.
Press the button 14 repeatedly until the
desired setting appears in the speed indicator
15. The selected setting will be saved.
The required speed/impact rate depends on
the material and the working conditions, and
can be determined through practical testing.

STATUS INDICATOR LED
The LED bar at the top of the user interface
illuminates in various colors to help the user
identify the status of the tool. When the status
indicator LED 11 is green the tool and battery
pack are operating normally and temperatures
are ok. If the indicator changes to yellow it
means that the tool or battery temperatures
have risen to a critical level. It is best to back
Operating Tips
Use only sockets designed
for power impact wrenches.
Sockets designed for hand use may break
under the load this tool generates.
INSTALLING FASTENERS
To fasten: Start the fastener by hand onto or
into its threaded counter part (e.g. nut onto
bolt, bolt into nut or threaded hole).
Next, with the proper impact socket securely
mounted to the wrench, place the impact
socket onto the nut or bolt head. Hold the tool
securely with both hands and squeeze the
trigger switch. The impact socket will turn the
fastener and impacting will begin once the
fastener encounters resistance.

off the load and give the tool a chance to cool
down. If the indicator turns red the tool will
shut off to protect itself and/or the battery
pack from an overheating situation.
The status indicator LED 11 will also blink blue
when the speed 14 or LED 12 buttons are held
for 7 seconds. This will reset the tool settings
to factory default.
BUILT-IN WORK LIGHT
Your tool is also equipped with a work light 13
for better visibility when driving. The lights turn
on when the variable speed trigger switch is
pulled. The light will automatically turn off
when variable speed trigger switch is released.
LED work light can also be activated via light
button 12 on the user interface.
To loosen: With the proper impact socket
securely mounted to the wrench, place the
impact socket onto the bolt head (be sure the
rotational direction is "reverse").
Hold the tool securely with both hands and
squeeze the trigger switch. The tool will start
to impact immediately. Once the fastener has
"broken loose" it will start to unthread. Be
careful that you do not allow a fastener to spin
freely once it is no longer engaged with the
other threaded part as it may be thrown out of
the socket.
TIGHTENING TORQUE
The tightening torque depends on the duration
of the impacting/tightening action. The highest
tightening torque is achieved after approx. 6 to
10 Sec. impacting/tightening action.
