ADJUSTING THE BELTS, HEADREST
AND THE CAR SEAT POSITIONS
The correct height of the belts on the shoul-
ders is when the belts disappear into the shell
slightly above the shoulder of the child.
Make sure that the belts are correctly posi-
tioned above the child's shoulders.
ADJUSTING THE BELTS
1.
The belts can be placed at five heights with
the adjustment of the height of the headrest.
Loosen the belts by pressing the special but-
ton and pulling the straps as much as possi-
ble. Warning! Do not pull the belt covers.

The headrest can be adjusted to 9 heights,
Group I has 5 heights, groups II + III have 4
heights.
Press the button on the handle of the head-
rest.
FIVE POSITIONS OF THE CAR SEAT

The seat can be used in 5 positions: lift the
handle under the seat and pull or push the
shell forwards or backwards.
Leave the handle when you reach the desired
position and push until you hear a click.
PROTECTING THE CHILD
WITH THE HARNESS
Loosen the belts by pressing the special but-
ton and pulling the straps as much as possi-
ble. (Fig. 1).
Warning!
Do not pull the belt covers.

Open the buckle (Fig. 4a), then place the belts
on the armrests on both sides (Fig. 4b).

The correct height of the belts on the shoul-
ders is when the belts disappear in the shell
slightly above the shoulder of the child.
Make sure that the belts are correctly posi-
tioned above the child's shoulders.
6.
Slide the closure tabs together and insert
them into the buckle with a click.
7.
Pull the belts until they are tight on the shoul-
ders, pull the loose part out through the ad-
justment strap.
Warning!
Do not cross or tangle the shoulder
belts.

Pull the strap end.
Warning!
Pull the strap end straight towards
you, not upwards or downwards.
Please pay attention to the ends of the belt.
While travelling (especially out of the car) it
should always be fastened to the cover.
CHECKING IF THE SAFETY BELT
IS CORRECTLY FASTENED
9. For the safety of the child, please check that:
- the seat belts rest comfortably but fixed on
the child's shoulders;
- the belts are properly placed on the shoulders;
- the belts are not tangled;
- the closure tabs are fixed well within the
buckle.
INSTALLING IN THE VEHICLE
Please do not leave your child unattended inside
the car seat.
In case of an emergency stop or accident, the ob-
jects that are not secured inside the vehicle can
cause injuries to the occupants of the vehicle.
To protect all occupants of the vehicle, always
check that:
- the vehicle backrests are locked;
- all heavy or sharp objects in the vehicle (for exam-
ple a parcel on the shelf) are secured.
- all the people in the vehicle have their seat belts
fastened;
- the child car seat is always secured when it is
inside the vehicle, even when not carrying the child.
Protect your vehicle
The child car seat can cause scratching and perma-
nent marks to car seat covers made of particularly
delicate material (e.g. velvet, leather, etc.). This can
be avoided by using a blanket or cloth underneath
the child seat.

Place the car seat in the "sleeper" position
(Fig. 3).

Remove the lower rod of the seat, then push
the child seat.

Install the safety harness from the back of the
seat and fasten it to the buckle of the seat.

Open the locking device and the belt tensioner.

Pass the belt through the locking device, the
hooks and the belt tensioner and close the
locking device and the tensioner again. Pull
the belt fixed to the seat buckle.

The seat will be fixed by two belts in two direc-
tions. A belt from the top, from the release de-
vice and one horizontally from the safety hook
for the belt, tighten the car belt and use the
locking device to fix it, so that it does not move.

Make sure that the axis enters perfectly in its
groove by clicking.
16.
Bring the body of the seat back to its original po-
sition and secure it by putting the safety rod back.
17.
Pull a small portion of the metal hook, allow
the belt to pass underneath the metal guide
(Fig. 17a) and lock the upper rod (Fig. 17b).
Please, make sure that the lap strap is
placed the right way and that the hip is se-
cured firmly.

Before installation, please remove the seat
harness (including the belt covers, the buckle,
the groin protection).

Pull the belt out (Fig. 19a) and pass the strap
through the guide, then lock the belt guide
(Fig. 19b).

Place the child in the seat, pull the strap
through the hook and then through the belt
guide placed at the bottom of the seat (Fig.
20a) and insert it into the buckle (Fig. 20b).

The shoulder belt should pass between the
child's neck and its shoulder.
Please, make sure that the lap strap is
placed the right way and that the hip is se-
cured firmly.

Adjust the height of the headrest until appro-
priate for the height of the child.
Refer to the Group II installation instructions.
Make sure the lap belt is tensioned and tight
around the child's hip, passing right through the
belt guides and that it is locked in the buckle.

The shoulder belt should pass between the
child's neck and its shoulder.
Please, make sure that the lap strap is
placed the right way and that the hip is se-
cured firmly.
REMOVING THE 5-POINT HARNESS
AND THE COVER

Place the shell in a tilted position (Fig. 1/3),
extract the lower rod and pull the body of the
seat (Fig. 10), push the adjustment device and
push the belt clip out from the other side to
unlock it (Fig. 24a), pull out the shoulder belt
axis, unfasten the shoulder belt (Fig. 24b) and
remove it from the hole (Fig. 24c).

Loosen the bottom of the cover and pull the
belt hook (Fig. 25a). Then pull the buckle
hook through the fastening slot of the buckle
(Fig. 25b).

Remove the 5-point harness and then remove
the headrest and shell cover.

After washing, place the cover on the shell.
28.
Loosen the bottom of the cover and pull the belt
hook through the fastening slot of the buckle.
29.
Then pull the buckle hook through the fasten-
ing slot.

Insert the belts through the belt covers, the
cushion for the head, the lining and the shell,
fasten them to the shoulder belt axis and lock
the axis on the shell.
31.
Connect the belts to the belt clip (5-K) and
make sure the belt does not rotate.
32.
Close the buckle again and then fasten the
cover all around, behind the pins.
CLEANING
Please be sure to use only original covers, as only
these are guaranteed for the system to function
properly.
The car seat must not be used without its cover.
The cover can be removed and washed with a mild
detergent, using the "delicate" cycle of the washing
machine, with a water temperature of 30°. Please
follow the washing instructions on the label placed
on the cover. Plastic parts can be cleaned using
soap and water. Do NOT use any solvents or ag-
gressive detergents for cleaning.
The harness can be removed and washed in warm,
soapy water.
WARNING!
Never remove the closure tabs from
the straps.
