Declaration of noise and vibration statement : These declared values were obtained by laboratory type testing in accordance with the stated
standards and are suitable for comparison with the declared values of other tools tested in accordance with the same standards. These declared values
are not adequate for use in risk assessments and values measured in individual work places may be higher. The actual exposure values and risk of
harm experienced by an individual user are unique and depend upon the way the user works, the workpiece and the workstation design, as well upon
the exposure time and the physical condition of the user. We, CHICAGO PNEUMATIC TOOLS , cannot be held liable for the consequences of using
the declared values, instead of values reflecting the actual exposure, in an individual risk assessment in a work place situation over which we have no
control. This tool may cause hand-arm vibration syndrome if its use is not adequately managed. An EU guide to managing hand-arm vibration can be
found at www. pneurop.eu/uploads/documents/pdf/PN3-02-NV_Declaration_info_sheet_0111.pdf We recommend a programme of health surveillance
to detect early symptoms which may relate to noise or vibration exposure, so that management procedures can be modified to help prevent future
impairment.
2. Machine type(s)
• The Units described here are operated manually and with Air-hydraulic support (optionnal), which apply pressure on parts for assembly or disassembly
purposes.
• For good use of the press never exceed the maximum capacity and never apply more pressure than necessary.
• No other use permitted. For professional use only.
• Please also mind the product safety information!
3. Mounting instruction
Take off the bolts, washers from all parts before assembling.
• Before first operating the press, it is necessary to unpack, mount feet, the table and the pressure gauge. These operations can be performed in different
positions, but never forget that this is the heavy elements that require the assistance of others or the use of mechanical means.
• The feet are fixed to the chassis using the screws provided, and the tables to the two B axes of Fig.02 which have previously been positioned on the
outlets of the columns according to the chosen work height Fig.02. Attach the base section and support to left and right connecting plate using bolt
,washer, lock washer and nut.
• Move the pump assy, Fig.07 ( CP86750 ), Fig.09 ( CP86100 ),to the outside of the post, use bolt and washer which dismantled just now to twist tight on
the right connecting plate .
• Positioning of the Manometer: The manometer should be positioned on the hydraulic unit, which is located on the upper part of the press Fig.06.Remove
the metal cover, position the manometer, making sure that the O-ring seal which is inside the manometer casing remains at the bottom upon installation.
• Assemble oil hose :Fig.08 ( CP86750 ), Fig.10 ,Fig.11 ( CP86100 ).
• During moving the machine, please make sure to use the proper lifting equipment and follow the instructions as shows Fig.02.
Caution
Working area of 1 m must be kept free both in front of and behind the machine while it is in operation so that it is always easily
accessible.
Purge air from the hydraulic system:
• Open the release valve, by turning it in an anti-clockwise direction, and open air bleed vavle, Fig.07.
• Then pump the hydraulic unit several times. Then fully turn the release vavles in a clockwise direction. The hydraulic unit is ready for use.

4. Operation
Before the first use, please fix the machine to the floor by anchor bole. It must be ensured that the standing surface of the machine site
is firm and horizontal, and that sufficient lighting is provided for.
To reduce risk of injury, read and understand separately provided safety instructions and safety information reported on the press
Fig.16.
Following use of the press, keep the piston fully retracted.
Ensure table at proper position and lock the table by pins firmly. Place the V-block on table, Fig.02, then insert workpiece onto the
V-block.
• The V-block must be used by pair, not by piece!
• Only one person is allowed to operate the press.
4.1 Operation Instruction for CP86750
• Close the release valves, Fig.07, by turning it clockwise until it is firmly closed.
• Pump the handle/foot pedal until serrated saddle nears workpiece.
• Align workpiece and ram to ensure center loading.
• Pump the handle/foot pedal to apply load onto workpiece (please see numeration in pressure gauge).
• When work is done, stop pumping handle/foot pedal, slowly and carefully remove load from workpiece by turning the release valve counterclockwise in
small increments.(must turn with the small angle, the biggest is two circles Fig.15)
• Once ram has fully retracted, remove workpiece from table.
