4.4 Setting the time
Setting the clock to the correct (current) time is essential for correctly operating the programming mode, which allows
the water in the tank to reach the desired temperature at the pre-set time.
Initial setting: when the appliance is first turned on, the DISPLAY (10) flashes and the HOUR and MINUTES digits
appear. Turn the SET (3) knob towards the right or left until reaching the current time and confirm by pressing the SET
knob.
Repeat the same sequence in the event of a prolonged power cut (lasting over 3 days).
Modifying the time: to modify the time, press the SET (3) knob and hold for two seconds until the DISPLAY starts
flashing and the previously set time appears. Turn the SET (3) knob towards the right or left until the desired time
appears and confirm by pressing the SET knob. During the setting procedure, a pause of more than 5 seconds without
any action by the user determines the exit from the time modification phase.
4.5 Setting the temperature
The SET (3) knob is used to set the desired temperature of the hot water, depending on whether the appliance is
operating in the manual or programmed mode.
During the manual operating mode as signalled by the MANUAL LED (7) turned on, it is always possible to directly
modify the temperature setting as follows:
-
Press the SET knob (3).
-
The DISPLAY (10) starts flashing and the previously set temperature appears.
-
Turn the SET (3) knob within 3 seconds towards the right (+) or left (-) until reaching the desired temperature.
-
Confirm the setting by pressing the SET knob (3).
During the normal heat pump operating mode as signalled by the green light of the ECO HP (4) button turned on, the
temperature is selected in the 40°C – 55°C range. When attempting to select a temperature higher than 55°C by turning
the knob clockwise, the word "ECO" flashes on the DISPLAY (10) to remind the user that the heating element must
be activated.
To obtain temperatures above 55°C up to 65°C, the heating element must be activated manually in the following
way:
-
Press the ECO HP (4) button.
-
Turn the SET (3) knob within 4 seconds towards the right (+) until the desired temperature appears on the
DISPLAY (10).
-
Confirm the setting by pressing the SET knob (3).
