USE
The belt grinder/sander can be used to sand wood
and to grind iron, plastic and similar materials when
fitted with the correct grinding/sanding belt.

Operating tips
Allow the belt grinder/sander to run up to speed
before you place it against the workpiece.
Do not switch off the belt grinder/sander while
the belt is still touching the workpiece.
Always hold the belt grinder/sander with both
hands during operation.

Always sand wood in the direction of the grain
Fitting the dust bag (Fig. 2)
Dust is drawn from directly above the grinding /
sanding belt into the dust bag.
Important!
For health reasons it is essential to use the dust
bag!
Switching On/Off (Fig. 3)
Switching on:
Press operating switch A
Continuous duty: Secure switch A in place with
locking button B
Switching off:
Press briefly on operating
switch A
The machine can be operated in momentary
action mode or in continuous duty mode.
Changing the grinding/sanding paper
(Fig. 4-6)
Pull the clamping lever (7) outwards to take the
tension off the grinding/sanding belt.
Pull the used grinding/sanding belt off the drive
rollers.
Slip the new grinding/sanding belt onto the drive
rollers.

Make sure that the running direction of the
grinding/sanding belt (arrows on the inside of the
grinding/sanding belt) are the same as the running
direction of the belt grinder/sander (arrow on the rear

drive roller).

Press back the clamping lever (7) to tension the
grinding/sanding belt.

Switch on the belt grinder/sander. Use the setting
3.08 kg
screw (8) to adjust the belt run so that the
grinding/sanding belt runs centrally on both drive
rollers.
Cleaning, maintenance and ordering
of spare parts
Always pull out the mains power plug before starting
any cleaning work.
