the carriage holder supports (fi g.5-ref.1) and run the whole
chain through the guide.
• Insert the carriage (fi g.6-ref.1) in the chain holder guide
and secure it on the carriage holder support.
• Assemble the motor block (fi g.7-ref.1) on the chain holder
guide (fi g.7-ref.2) using the special anchoring devices (fi g.7-
ref.3).
• Fit the chain on the sprocket (fi g.7-ref.4).
• Insert the heads of the screws used for anchoring to the
support brackets (fi g.7-ref.5) in the outside tracks of the
guide. The screws enable anchoring on the ceiling fi g.10-
ref.1.
• Secure the guide using the strap and special screws
(fi g.7-ref.6).
• Adjust the guide head (fi g.8-ref.1), using a spanner, by
holding the chain so there is a small amount of play on the
coupling with the sprocket (fi g.7-ref.4).
• Fully close the garage door then secure the bracket to the
wall (fi g.8-ref.2) at a distance of no more than 8 cm above
the upper part of the door (fi g.9).
• Secure the guide head to the bracket on the wall using
the special screw with nut and washers (fi g.8-ref.3).
It must be possible to connect the rod to the carriage so
that the guide is parallel to the fl oor (up-and-over doors)
or the door guides (roller shutter doors). Furthermore
the distance between the bracket and the ceiling (fi g.9-a)
must be equal to that marked on the support brackets
(fi g.9-b).
• Secure the support brackets to the ceiling (fi g.9-ref.1)
making sure that the minimum useful distance is maintained
(fi g.9-c).
• Lift the guide using the motor unit (fi g.10).
