Noise Rejection and Isolation
With unit under power and an ANSI/IEEE C62.41 Category A impulse applied either normal mode
or common mode at the input, the noise output voltage will be less than 10V normal mode and
0.5 volts common mode in all four quadrants (CM -NM, NM-NM, CM -CM, NM -CM)
Surge Voltage Withstand
Tested under power to ANSI/IEEE C62.41 Category A & B (formerly IEEE587-1980) – Category
A 6000V/200A, 0.5 usec. risetime, 100 kHZ decay, Category B 6000V/500A, 0.5 usec. risetime,
100 kHZ decay.
Ground Guard® Models
Same specifications as shown above. In addition, Ground Guard® models are manufactured
with an inductance in the safety ground circuit ahead of the transformer neutral to ground bond.
The inductance adds 0.1 ohms at 60 Hz. The impedance limits noise conduction into data,
signal, and logic grounds to less than 0.1% of electrical disturbance source current.

North American medical versions of this uninterruptible power manager meet all requirements for
UL60601-1 and cUL C22.2 No. 60601.1. International medical versions of this uninterruptible
power manager meet all requirements for IEC60601-1 and European derivatives EN60601.

North American Standard and Ground Guard® models are UL and cUL listed to UL1778. North
American Medical models are listed to UL60601-1 and cUL C22.2 No. 60601.1. International
Standard and Ground Guard® models are UL listed. International Medical models are UL listed
to IEC60601-1 and EN60601. All models for international use carry the CE mark.
