MINIMUM AVERAGE WATER TEMPERATURE
To avoid condensation on the unit's external structure, the average water temperature must not fall below the limits shown in the table, which depend
on inside air temperature/humidity. These limits refer to operation at minimum speed, which represents the most critical condition.
MINIMUM AVERAGE WATER TEMPERATURE (°C)
Wet bulb inside air temperature (°C WB)
If when reaching the desired room temperature the fan stops and cold water continues to flow through the coil, condensate may form on the unit's
external structure.
To avoid such condensation on the unit's external structure, the control system should be configured so that on reaching the set temperature, as well
as stopping the fan, water flow through the coil is stopped (3-way valve, 2-way valve, pump OFF, chiller OFF, etc.); alternatively, install additional
thermal insulation on the unit.

When the work has been completed, make sure the condensate
drains correctly by pouring some water into the pan
The unit must be installed in a position that allows routine and
unscheduled maintenance to be carried out easily!
• Any false-ceilings must allow the possibility to access the bottom
panelling of the unit so as to inspect the filters and the fans.
• On the side with the water connections, leave at least 400 mm clear-
ance for assembling the pipes and valves.
Warning: Use always two spanners when tightening the
coil to the piping.
▪ Make the water connections.
▪ Use shut-off valves (MIN 3/4") to isolate the coil from the rest of the
circuit in the event of unscheduled maintenance. Connect the inlet with
a ball valve and the outlet with balancing valve or lockshield valve (or
install two ball valves).
▪ Install a vent valve at the top and a drain valve at the bottom.
▪ The water heat exchanger coils are tested at a pressure of 30 bars
and therefore are suitable for operation up to a maximum pressure of
15 bars.
▪ Suitably support the pipes outside of the unit to avoid loading the
weight onto the coil.
Install frost protection devices. In particularly cold climates, drain
the water from the system if not used for long periods.
