INSTALLATION: POSITIONING THE UNIT
INSTALLATION MUST BE PERfORMED IN OBSERVANCE Of CURRENT REGULATIONS
• Make sure the unit and its technical specifications match the design or other documents.
• Do not leave any packaging within the reach of children as it is a source of danger.
• Wear suitable personal protective devices before installing the unit. Use suitable equipment to prevent accidents during installation.
• Before proceeding with installation mount any accessories on the unit following the assembly instructions contained in each Kit.
• Decide the installation position. Position the unit on a solid structure that does not generate vibrations and that can withstand the weight of the
machine.
• Install the unit in a position that allows routine and extraordinary maintenance to be carried out with ease!
The installer MUST ensure that the unit is covered by appropriate panelling (false-ceilings, partitions, closing panels, etc.) which act as FIXED PRO-
TECTION for the unit. The protective panelling MUST be secured using systems that require tools to be opened (e.g. screws), so as to prevent users
from accessing hazardous parts (98/37/EEC) such as sharp edges and corners, electrical parts, moving fans, etc. The panelling must be able to be
removed (using tools!) so as to provide TOTAL ACCESS to the unit, avoiding the risk of needing to break/damage structures and masking (plaster-
board, false-ceilings, etc.) in the event of unscheduled maintenance and/or replacement of the unit.
Due to its weight, the
unit should be lift-
ed using mechanical
equipment.

Mark, using the four fastening holes on the structure, the position of the expansion screw an-
chors. Drill the holes for the anchors. Install the unit using four 8 MA expansion screws or Ø 8
mm threaded bar. Install the unit in a position that ensures free air flow for intake and outlet.
