When loading the BBQ with meat make sure that the meat is positioned centrally under the heating element
to obtain an evenly distributed crust.
To turn the meat you should completely remove the grill grate and place it on a fireproof surface. Turn the meat
over and put it back into the BBQ. Use a grill tong instead of sharp utensils to avoid the meat juice flowing out.
It is recommended to warm up the device before you put the meat in it. After reaching the target temperature,
start the grilling process again to have enough time to cook a piece of meat from both sides in one grilling
process.
Cancel grilling
If you want to cancel the process during grilling, for example to change the set temperature or to turn the unit
off, keep the knob pressed for 3 seconds.
Let the meat stand
The strong radiant heat provides at a high temperature setting between 400 °C and 850 °C for rapid cook-
ing. For most cuts of meat, it is advisable to let the meat stand after strong irradiation. This can be done in the
grill room or better yet in the grease drip tray in the lower chamber of the grill insert (resting room) at reduced
temperature.
Basic Information on High Temperature Grilling
Displayed temperature
The temperature displayed in the display is measured by a high-precision temperature sensor directly in the
heating. It decreases with increasing distance. Since the device works mainly with radiant heat, the intensity of
the heat exposure depends on the surface of the meat. Surfaces that are dark and have little reflection heat up
faster than surfaces with light colours.
The usage of a high-temperature grill is very different from the usage with customary grills. The performance
per area is about ten times higher.
The preparation of a steak is dived into the following steps:
1. Pre-heat device.
2. Position and insert the meat
3. Grilling one side (1-4 minutes depending on the type of meat, see table)
4. Turn the meat
5. Grill the other side (1-4 minutes depending on the type of meat, see table)
6. Let it simmer (Selection of the temperature and time see table.
7. Enjoy!
