Preheating
During operation, the high temperature grill shows the current temperature as measured by a built-in heating
element temperature sensor. Once the displayed value oscillates around ± 20 °C from the target temperature,
the heating is up to operating temperature. The device works most effectively when the entire grill area is pre-
heated. Thus, it is advised to wait an additional 3-5 minutes before inserting food to be grilled in order to obtain
consistent and reproducible grilling results.
Making Barbecue
Usual cooking time is between one and three minutes on each side of the food. Notes on cooking different
foods and meats can be found in the table "forms of preparation".
Put the meat on the non-preheated grill grate and use the guide handle to put it in the preheated BBQ. In the
following illustrations you can see the exposed grill surface in relation to the selected track, or in relation to the
distance between grill and heating. Place the meat in the check pattern area:
Runner 1 and 2
Runner 3 and 4
Runner 5 and 6
Select a track depending on the meat thickness. The meat should be positioned just under the heater, but
must not touch it in. Removethe handle immediately from grill grate to avoid heating of the handle. Caution:
Risk of injury!
