ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
A
FLASHING LIGHT: connect to terminals 1 and 2.
B
MOTOR: connect to terminals 3, 4 and 5. Terminal 4 is the common. To
reverse the motor's direction of rotation, switvh the connections between
terminals 3 and 5.
C/D
Power supply: 220-230 V, 50 Hz. Connect to terminals 6 and 7. Terminal
6 is the neutral phase.
E
Main external earth wire.
F
The pneumatic frame anti-entrainement and anti-crushing safety device's
normally-closed contact for stopping the gate's movement. Connect to
terminals 9 and 16, or 9 and 17. If the device is intercepted during the
opening phase, it stops the gate and then reverses its movement from
opening to closing for a period of 2 seconds. Then the gate stops and
the indicator light will flash until the stop button or emergency button is
pressed. This will allow the normal functioning cycle to be reset. The
above safety device can also be connected in series with the stop button.
G
Normaly-open contact of the button of the closing command. Connect
to terminals 10 and 16, or 10 and 17.
H
Normally-closed contact of the stop button. Connect to terminals 11
and 16, or 11 and 17.
I
Normally-open contact of the button of the opening command and the
step closing command or just the opening command. Connect to
terminals 12 and 16, or 12 and 17.
L
Normally-closed contact of the photoelectric cell safety device; the
photoelectric cell is supplied with power. Connect to terminals 13 and
16, or 13 and 17.
M
Normally-closed contact of the limit switch for opening. Connect to
terminals 14 and 16.
N
Normally-closed contact of the limit switch for closing. Connect to
terminals 15 and 16. The above limit switches function magnetically
and are installed on the S1 card located under the electronic control
unit's main card.
O/P
Common inputs of the buttons; limit switch and contacts of the safety
device. Terminals 16 and 17.
Q/R
24 Vac outputs for supplying power to the photoelectric cells, etc.
Terminals 18 and 19.
S
INDICATOR LIGHT. Connect to the terminals 20 and 21. You can connectet
up to a maximum of 5 12V indicator lights whith a maximum of 3 W
each. The indicator ligts turn on during the opening phase, remane lit
up for the entire amount of time that it takes to open the gate, and then
turn off when the closing command is given.
T
Coaxial cable of the radio receiver's antenna. Connect the earth braid or
shieldig to terminal 23 and the middle wire to terminal 22.
DEVICES FOR PROGRAMMING, ADJUSTMENT, AND PROTECTION
Programming:
Programmer installed on the radio receiver with card (S3), for selecting
P1
channels from 1 to 4. Not valid for self-learning receiver.
P2
Programmer installed on the radio receiver with card (S3), for composing
the code that has to correspond to the transmitter's code. Not valid for
self-learning receiver.
Programmer for selecting the following functions:
P3
When the switch is in the OFF position, every impulse corresponds to a
D1
command of opening, closing, opening, etc. When the switch is in the
ON position each impulse corresponds to just opening. Closing can be
controlled with the closing button or it can be automatic.
D2
When the switch is in the ON position, automatic closing is enable.
When the switch is in the OFF position, automatic closing is disable.
When the switch is in the OFF position, the photoelectric cell safety
D3
device functions only when the gate is in the closing phase. When the
switch is in the ON position, the photoelectric cell safety device function
when the gate is in both the opening phase and the closing phase. If the
photoelectric cell is intercepted during the gate's closing phase, it stops
it. When the obstacle is removed, the gate will open again. If the
photoelctric cell is intercepted during the gate's opening phase, it stop
it: When the obstacle is removed, the gate will open again.
When the switch is in the ON position the flashing light will begin
D4
flashing and after three seconds the gate will begin moving. When the
switch is in the OFF position the flashing light will begin flashing when
the gate begins moving.
Adjustment:
T1 TRIMMER for adjusting operating time. It can vary from a minimum of five
seconds to a maximum of two minutes.
T2 TRIMMER for adjusting the pause for automatic closing. It can vary from
a minimum of one second to a maximum of two minutes.
T3 TRIMMER for adjusting the inductive sensor's sensivity. See page 10. The
T3 trimmer is installed on the card that can be inserted in the C1 connector.
Protection:
F1 F 5A fuse which protects the high voltage.
F2 F 1A fuse which protects the low voltage.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
-Temperature range: from -20 to +70 °C
-Humidity: < 95% without condensation
-Mains voltage: 220-230 V ± 10%
-Frequency: 50-60 Hz
-Maximum absorption of the card (excluding the motor, the lights, and external
parts): 100 mA
-Mains micro-interruptions (at maximum load and minimum mains voltage):
20 mS
-Maximum power at motor output: 1 CV (736 W)
-Maximum load at the indicator light's output: 24 V, 12 W
-Maximum load at the flashing light's output: 40 W
-Current avaible at the output for supplying the photoelectric cell: 0.4 A, 24 V
± 15%
-The transformer used has two secondaries:
a) One 10 V, 1 VA secondary for powering the microprocessor
b) One 24 V secondary (with a central socket) rated 19 VA for powering the
indicator lights, the photoelectric cell, and the 12 V part of the electronic card.
-All inputs must be used ad clean contacts so that the power supply is
generated inside the card and is arranged so as to guarantee that there is
double or reinforced insulation of the live parts.
-All inputs are controlled by the activity of the microprocessor.
-The block input is controlled by the microprocessor, but if the block input
remains open, it does not supply power to the relays' coils. Therefore it can be
used to unconditionally block the motor in situations that are dangerous for
the operator.
