For converting pillar-type bath mixer with
automatic diverter to bath mixer without diverter.
Pillar type bath mixers are always supplied with
automatic diverters.
If the diverter function is not required, it may be dis-
abled using the enclosed conversion kit.
2.0 INSTALLATION
Using an 8 mm Allen key, remove the threaded
nipple from shaft. Grasp the knob/lever firmly and
use a 6 mm Allen key to turn the diverter in the
shaft to release the knob/lever.
Press the diverter downwards through the shaft.
Remove the spring on the pull-rod and replace with
the 34 mm spacer tube supplied. Replace the
diverter in the shaft. Replace knob/lever and use
a 6 mm Allen key to turn the diverter in the shaft
and tighten the knob/lever.
Insert rubber seal in shaft and seal off shaft with
screw cap. If pull-rod can still be pressed
downwards, insert the second rubber seal to
lock the rod. The diverter is now disabled.
ATTENTION
After fitting the unit, check that
closed tap is watertight.
The non-return valve supplied is only for use with
bath mixers with automatic diverters.
3.0 MAINTENANCE
of the automatic diverter
Depending on local water characteristics, the

or ceases to function correctly.
Unscrew the shower hose and the non-return valve,
if fitted. Remove the diverter as described above.
Clean the diverter plunger. Grease O-rings and
replace the diverter.
