1. PARTS SUPPLIED

Single-hole washbasin mixer complete with infrared electronics,
solenoid valve, flow reducer for 6 l/min, aerator and two
pressure hoses with G 3/8 left-hand-thread connections.

• Battery box with 6 Volt lithium battery
• 2 x back-flow preventers, G 3/8, with dirt trap, seal
• 2 x reducing nipples, G 1/2 / G 3/8
• Set of fixtures

At an idle pressure of more than 5 bar, the installation of a
automatic function

in the supply line is recommended.
The fittings are not suitable for use in conjunction with
pressureless storage water heaters.
Observe DIN 1988 in the case of newly installed pipe systems.
No problems are expected with performance when used in
conjunction with electronic continuous-flow water heaters.
When used in conjunction with hydraulic continuous-flow
water heaters which switch on at a flow rate < 4l/min, the
volume control in the inset spout nipple must be removed.

3. FUNCTION

When the hands are placed within approx. 100 mm of the

infrared sensor, the mixer is switched on. The mixer cuts out

again if the hands are moved within the infrared sensor's
range a second time. If the hands are not moved towards
the sensor a second time, the mixer automatically cuts out
after 1 min.

The mixer is switched on when the hands are held beneath

Temperature adjustment
The water temperature can be adjusted by turning the mixer
knob 2.
Battery display
If the LED in the upper sensor lens 1 flashes, the mixer is
no longer operational. The lithium battery must be changed.

4. INSTALLATION

Rinse the supply pipes thoroughly before fitting the

Take O-ring 3 from the set of fixtures and place in the

5. CHANGING THE BATTERY

If the LED in the upper sensor lens 1 is flashing, the battery
needs changing.
To change the battery, unscrew the base of the battery box

Screw the base of the battery box 9 back on again.
6. CARE
HINT: the automatic function of the mixer can be deactivated
when cleaning and drying the washbasin, for instance by
100 mm
covering over the sensor lenses with one hand.
