Brakes

Connect the brake via a power connector (Fig. 7) or a terminal box (Fig. 8).

Closed current holding brake: The higher-level control system must release the brake
when the motor is switched on.
Forced ventilation

Connection to the terminal block in the terminal box of the fan unit

Connect the PE conductor

Check the direction of rotation of the forced ventilation unit at the air inlet of the blower
housing. Take note of the directional arrow on the blower housing.
External earth connection

Motors with a rated output greater than 100 kW must be earthed via the additional
M12 earthing screw on the non-drive end shield.

Use cable lug as per DIN 46234.
