1 - GENERAL OPERATION
System #9 : Alternated
5.4
2 to 4 valves
During normal operation, the electronics of each valve display alternatively the time of day and
volume of water remaining.
The remaining volume is the total volume of the system. The remaining volume displayed drops
with water consumption to reach zero. The valve in service sends a signal to the valve in standby
that goes in service, once this occurs, the first valve goes in regeneration. If a valve is
regenerating and another has used its water capacity, it will stay in service until the first valve
goes back in standby.
Note:
- During the programmation of a multi valve system, program the lag valve(s) first and
the lead valve last (Lead). This will minimize the program or communication errors.
- If you switch from one system to another, reset the programming.
- Whilst exiting the programmation of valves with a system #6, 7, 9 or powering the
valve, they will calculate the volume of water (CALc is displayed) and wait for a
communication signal.
- If a signal of good communication is received, the system will go in normal operation.
- If the system does not receive a signal of good communication, CALc is displayed and
the system goes in standby. Press the regeneration button to force the system to go
from standby to normal operation mode. The error message could appear after a
minute.
- Valves in system #7 and 9
- The lower part of the valve in standby goes in service (online), the valve needing a
regeneration closes its lower part and the upper part goes into its first cycle.
- Reserve capacity is only for meter delayed (4Fd). After a power cut or a programming
reset, the calculation of the reserve capacity will be based on the safety coefficient.
The reserve goes from 0 to 50% of the system capacity.
Only the master valves (LEAd) of system #6 and 7 respond to the inhibition and dosing
pump signals. Moreover, the dosing pump is only available if the auxiliary outlet during
regeneration (Arof) is not used.
