According to EN 795, the anchor point (anchor de-
vice) for personal protective equipment against falls
from a height must be able to withstand a force of
12 kN and meet the requirements specified in the
user's guide of the fall protection system used. The
anchor point should always be located above the
user.
b. Front connection - EN 813
Fix the connecting element (carabiner) at the device
by hooking it into the front fixing eyelet of the waist
belt (Pic. 4A) and hook the rope end with the stit-
ched loop and the carabiner directly at the anchor
point (carabiner freely movable, no transverse load,
...).
To reduce the distance, the free rope end must be
pulled (Pic. 4B), to increase the distance, grasp the
device, turn it slightly and hold the loose rope in
your hand to avoid jerky, uncontrolled slackening.
