start a vehicle.
However, it is recommended to recharge the GYSCAP 680E by referring to the paragraph «recharging
the GYSCAP 680E».
The digital display shows six bars: The GYSCAP 680E is fully loaded, so the starting capacity is opti-
mal.
STATE OF CHARGE OF THE BATTERY TO BE STARTED
The GYSCAP 680E displays, via its digital display, the vehicle battery voltage or the alternator voltage if the vehicle is
in operation.
Connect the clamps of the GYSCAP 680E to the battery of a vehicle to be serviced, respecting the
polarity.
Press the Power button.
The voltage will vary depending on the condition of the vehicle.
If the voltage of the supercapacitors is lower than the voltage at the end of the clamps,
the GYSCAP 680E will recharge its supercapacitors up to 14 V see «Recharging the GYS-
CAP 680E».
RECHARGE OF GYSCAP 680E
The GYSCAP 680E recharges in a few seconds by connecting directly to a running 12 Volt battery vehicle.
The voltage of the supercapacitors will be at a maximum of 14 V or the maximum voltage that can
be supplied by the alternator.
If the alternator voltage is lower than 14 V, the GYSCAP 680E will not be 100% recharged.
REFILL BY STARTER PINCES
Connect the clamps of the GYSCAP 680E to an operational vehicle respecting the polarities.
Start the vehicle.
Press the Power button.
The bars on the digital display will increment and the battery voltage will be displayed.
