10.2.1 Shutdown
Reasons for shutdown by qualified staff

– Main cleaning (see →Main cleaning)
Reasons for shutdown by operating personnel
– Damage to appliance
WARNING
Shutdown of the appliance.
Contact with live parts may result in electric
shock.
▪ Only previously trained staff may cut power
of the device.
▪ Disconnect the appliance and secure it
against reconnection.
Steps for shutdown
– Move the goods to another appliance with the
same product temperature class.
– Disconnect the appliance:
1. Press
on the control element (see →
Page 31, Chapter 5).
2. Switch off circuit breakers used with the appliance
and secure them against reconnection (see →Fus-
ing).
3. Switch off the appliance circuit by removing the
mains plug and secure against reconnection (see
→Electrical connection).
Longer shutdown
– Carry out the steps for shutdown.
– Perform basic cleaning (see →Basic cleaning).
NOTICE
Material damage during prolonged shutdown.
▪ Do not expose the appliance to heat radiation.
▪ Do not place anything in or on the appliance.
▪ Store the appliance in a stable operating position
(horizontal alignment).
10.2.2 Restart

10.3 Malfunctions during operation
NOTICE

Electrostatic discharge and sparking
with flammable refrigerant.
Sparks can ignite leaking refrigerant if the re-
frigerant circuit is damaged or leaking. Fire
hazard.
▪ Use a slightly moistened cloth or sponge to
remove condensation.
▪ Do not use dry cloths or sponges to rub
dry.
▪ Do not operate any electrical devices (e.g.
wet vacuum cleaners) inside the cooling
compartment that do not correspond to the
design recommended by the manufacturer.
