Pump has following problems:

Detergent fails to mix with spray.
Engine runsgood at no-load but
"bogs" when load is added.
Enginewill not start; or startsand
runs rough.

inadequatewater supply.

inlet hose is kinked or leaking.
4.
Clogged inlet hose strainer.
5.
Water supply is over IO0°F.
6.
High pressure hose is blocked or
leaks.
7.
Gun leaks.
8.
Spray tip is obstructed.
9.
Pump is faulty.

Detergentsiphoning tube is not
submerged.
2.
Detergentsiphoning tube/filter is
clogged or cracked.
3.
High pressure spray tip installed.
Engine speed is too slow.

Throttle lever in STOPposition.

Dirty air cleaner.

Out of fuel.
4.
Stale fuel.
5.
Spark plug wire not connected to
spark plug.
6.
Bad spark plug.
7.
Water in fuel.

Overchoking.

Excessively rich fuel mixture.
Correction
1.
Clear inlet.
2.
Provide adequatewater flow.
3.
Straighten inlet hose, patch leak.
4.
Checkand clean inlet hose strainer.
5.
Provide cooler water supply.

Clear blocks in high pressure hose or
replace hose.
7.
Replace gun.
8.
Cleanspray tip.
9.
Contact Sears service facility.

insert detergent siphoning tube into
detergent.
2.
Cleanor replacefilter/detergent
siphoning tube.
3.
Replace high pressure spray tip with
black spray tip.
Move throttle lever to FASTposition, if engine
still "bogs down", contact Sears service
facility.
1.
Move throttle lever to FASTposition.
2.
Cleanor replaceair cleaner.
3.
Fill fuel tank.

Connect wire to spark plug.
6.
Replace sparkplug.
7.
Drain fuel tank; fill with fresh fuel.
8.
Open choke fully and crank engine.
9.
Contact Sears service facility.
