users by means of an overvoltage limiting decive (OVERSTOP)
and then,if necessary, to use residual current breakers
anti-disturbance AP type.
- The higher safety level is reached when each of the users
depending on the same earthing system is protected individually
by its own residual current breaker.
- Installation should be carried out professionally and in accordance
with CEI 64-8 (IEC 364) specific regulations.
Instructions for user
(To be kept available for future users as well)
Installation of this residual current operated circuit breaker
appreciably increases the safety level of the electric installation and
of the people using it.
Furthermore, if the type-plate of the residual current operated circuit
breaker indicates IÆn 0,03A or 0,01A, the protection will also operate
in the event of accidental contact with an electric part.
However, the installation of a residual current operated circuit breaker
does not mean exemption from all the precautions which should be
taken by all using electric power. In particular:
- remember to push test button "T" each month. The residual current
breaker should then snap. If this does not happen, a technician
should be alerted immediately because system safety has lowered.
- If a personal computer is used, as well as an electronic typewriter,
an electronic cash register, an electronic scale or other equipment
including electronic circuits, provided with earthed plugs, check that
residual current breaker shows the
y
symbol on the type-plate.
