Initial operation

Preparing
▪ Prepare the ingredients:
Remove skin, bones and tendons from meat; cut off the stalks and remove the cores from fruit and
vegetables; chop everything into cubes of approx. 2 cm.
The appliance can process up to 250 g in each cycle – divide larger volumes correspondingly.
▪ Place the preparation container (4) on the motor (5).
▪ Carefully place the required tool on the drive shaft (3). The discs (8–12) are positioned at the top
and the stainless steel blade (7) at the bottom of the drive shaft (3).
The kneading blade (13) is also positioned at the bottom of the drive shaft (3).
▪ Fill the preparation container (4) with the ingredients if required.
Maximum filling quantities:

Stainless steel blade (7):

250 g

Kneading blade (13):

250 g flour + 150 g water + 50 g oil
▪ Now, place the lid (2) on the preparation container (4), ensuring that the small nose is directly to
the right of the container handle. Lock the lid by turning it slightly clockwise.
▪ Now the preparation container (4) can also be locked by turning it clockwise.
▪ Turn the operating switch (6) to the 0 (off) position. Only now should you insert the mains plug
into a socket.

▪ Stainless steel blade (7):
The stainless steel blade is extremely versatile. You can use it to chop meat and vegetables, or even
bread and nuts, for example. The processing time depends on the desired consistency.
Use the pulse function P for coarser results. To chop e.g. biscuit, first break into small pieces and
add through the insertion opening in the lid (2) while the motor is running.

▪ Strip cutting disc (julienne) (8):

Use the strip cutting disc (julienne) to cut vegetables into strips and to prepare French fries from
potatoes. The required tool must be pointing upwards when inserted. Add the required vegetables
through the insertion opening in the lid (2). Only switch the appliance on once you have done this.
Slowly and evenly push the vegetables downwards with the stopper (1).
▪ Fine and coarse cutting / grating disc (9 and 10):
Use the cutting / grating discs to slice or finely and coarsely grate vegetables. The required tool
must be pointing upwards when inserted. Add the required vegetables through the insertion
opening in the lid (2). Only switch the appliance on once you have done this. Slowly and evenly
push the vegetables downwards with the stopper (1). Set the operating switch (6) to speed setting
I for softer ingredients (e.g. tomatoes, pickles). Use speed setting II for harder ingredients (e.g.
carrots, potatoes).

▪ Grating disc (11):

Use the grating disc to very finely grate vegetables. The required tool must be pointing upwards
when inserted. Add the required vegetables through the insertion opening in the lid (2). Only
switch the appliance on once you have done this. Slowly and evenly push the vegetables
downwards with the stopper (1).

▪ Emulsifying disc (12):

Use the emulsifying disc to whip cream, beat egg whites, and make butter cream and mayonnaise.
Put the emulsifying disc in the preparation container (4), then add the required ingredient(s).
Note: Please note the "MAX Liquid fill" marking on the preparation container. When the device is
switched on, liquid can be forced upwards by the emulsifying disc starting up. For this reason, you
should press down gently on the lid (2), in order to avoid any liquid escaping.
Only switch the appliance on once you have done this.
Note: The processing time depends on the type, temperature and quantity of ingredients and may
vary accordingly. You should therefore check regularly whether the desired consistency has been
achieved.
▪ Kneading blade (13):
Use the kneading blade to prepare different types of soft dough (e.g. yeast dough). Put the
kneading blade in the preparation container (4), then add the dry ingredients. Add the liquid
ingredients through the insertion opening in the lid (2) while the motor is running. Knead the
ingredients (for approx. 30 seconds) until an elastic ball of dough has been created.
Note: Continue kneading the dough by hand if necessary. Do not continue using the food
processor, as this could overload the motor.
Finishing work
▪ Once the ingredients have been processed, turn the operating switch (6) to the 0 (off) position and
pull the mains plug out of the socket.
▪ Release the preparation container (4) from the motor (5) by turning it slightly anti-clockwise and
remove.
▪ Release the lid (2) from the preparation container (4) by turning it slightly anti-clockwise and
remove.
▪ Carefully remove the drive shaft (3) with the tool and place aside.
▪ Empty the preparation container (4) and clean all the parts used.
