Setting shooting mode
When the camera is switched on, it automatically swit-
ches into shooting mode.

and the icons on page 61.
If playback mode is active rather than shooting mode,
simply move the switch to the desired shooting mode
(photo or video).
Tips for good shots
•
Move the camera slowly so that the photos do not
become fuzzy. The camera should not move when
pressing the shutter release. Do not move the cam-
era directly after pressing the shutter release. Wait for
the shutter release signal.

View the subject on the display before you press the
shutter release.
•
Check the angle if the subject is lit from behind.
Change your position to reduce the background
lighting.
•
In order to create good video clips, move the camera
around slowly. If you pan too quickly, the video pic-
tures will be fuzzy and blurred.
