14 Electromagnetic compatibility

14.1 Electromagnetic emission

Guideline and manufacturer's declaration – electromagnetic emissions
The ultrasonic nebulizer is intended for use in an electromagnetic environment as specified below. The customer or user of the product should
ensure that it is operated in such an environment.
Interference
RF emissions according to CISPR11
RF emissions according to CISPR11
Harmonic emissions in accordance with
IEC 61000-3-2

accordance with IEC 61000-3-3

Electromagnetic interferences in other devices

14.2
Guideline for avoiding, detecting and remedying electromagnetic interferences in other devices
Other electrical/electronic devices should not be operated near the ultrasonic nebulizer or stacked on top or below it. If such an arrangement
cannot be avoided, the respective devices should be monitored to check proper function. Due to the various device functions, the effects can
differ significantly and may be hard to detect.

Electromagnetic environment – guideline
The ultrasonic nebulizer generates RF energy
internally and transfers this to the transducer
for mist generation. The RF emission is very low.
However, it can cause interference in nearby
electronic equipment.
The ultrasonic nebulizer is suitable for use in all
clinical facilities, including those in residential
areas (specialist personnel), and those directly
connected to a public supply grid that also
supplies buildings.
Remedy
- increase distance
- change arrangement
- change orientation
- switch receiver channel
