1 Indication for use
The 8066 Genu Immobil Vario T is to be used exclusively for the orthotic fitting of the knee joint
and is only suitable for contact with healthy skin.
2 Indications and effect
Post-traumatic and post-operative immobilization and mobilization of the knee joint through limi-
tation of movement. Indication must be determined by the physician.
2.1 Contraindications
2.1.1 Absolute contraindications
None.
2.1.2 Relative contraindications
In case of the following indications, consultation with a physician is required: Skin diseases/inju-
ries, inflammatory symptoms, prominent scars on body parts to which the support is to be applied
that are swollen, reddened and feel excessively warm; lymphatic flow disorders, including unclear
soft tissue swelling distant to the body area to which the support is to be applied; sensory and
circulatory disorders of the leg.

CAUTION
Use on more than one patient
Skin irritation, formation of eczema or infections
f Only use the orthosis on one patient.
