If the safety thermostat is tripped, the appliance
has to be restored to the initial working conditions
as follows.
Allow the water to cool by 30-40 °C

Open the hatch (A).

Press the button (B) of the safety thermostat

to restore the electricity supply.
Close the door (A) when the operation is

complete.
If the appliance is to be out of use for a lengthy
period, proceed as follows.
Cut off the mains electricity supply using the

appliance's master switch.
Turn off the water supply tap.

Clean the appliance and the surrounding areas

thoroughly.
Spread a fi lm of edible oil over the stainless

steel surfaces.
To ensure correct use of the appliance, the fol-
lowing rules should be adopted.
– Use only the accessories recommended by the
manufacturer.
– Always keep the appliance and the surround-

– When cleaning, use only food-approved
detergents.
– Before fi lling the tank, make sure the drain
lever (B) is on "CLOSED".
– Keep the water boiling constantly and ensure
correct starch overfl ow drain.
– Check that the water level never drops below
the minimum level marked (A) .
– Fill the baskets with the right quantity of pasta
taking into account the type of pasta and the
expected increase in volume during cooking.
Important
Drain the well completely after use and clean
it.
