PRELIMINARIES
UNPACKING
After unpacking the vehicle make sure it is complete in all
its parts.
On doubt, do not use the vehicle and report to the dealer.
Keep the parts of the packaging (bags, cases, rivets) out of the
reach of children since they may be dangerous
cleared off or kept in observance of the national environment
laws.
MOUNTING OF SEPARATE PARTS OF ThE VEhICLE.
The machine is assembled by the manufacturer with all its
fundamental and safety parts.
Some secondary parts of the vehicle are not mounted and sup-
plied separately due to packing and transport needs. The user
will have to assemble these parts following the instructions
contained in each assembling kit.
PREPARING ThE BATTERY

During this phase some sulphuric acid is used, which may
cause severe burns if it comes in contact with the skin, eyes
or clothing.
If this should happen, wash with plenty of water and consult
a doctor.
Use appropriate individual protections in order to prevent
the contact with sulphoric acid (gloves, mask, glasses,
etc.).
Charge the battery 8 hours at least before using it.
STARTING ThE BATTERY
Remove the caps (if available)
Pour sulphuric acid solution until the plates of each element ha-
ve been covered (if no electrolyte)
Leave the battery resting for 2 hours.
Add some more acid so as to compensate the quantity absor-
bed by the elements. The acid level must exceed by 5 mm
the border of
the elements.
Replace the caps of the battery
Install the battery into the proper case
Connect cable terminals of the battery with the right poles
Charge the battery at least 8 hours before using the vehicle
ATTENTION, do not reverse polarity on the battery, since it
might explode.
IDENTIFICATION LABLE
The identification lable with
the main technical features
of your vehicle is visibly pla-
ced on its body. (Fig. 1).

While purchasing the vehicle make sure that the pro-

duct is provided with the identification lable. if no lable is
to be found please advise the manufacturer and the dealer
promptly.
Vehicles without lable may not be used under pain of for-
feiture of any responsability of the manufacturer.
Products without lable must be considered anonymous
and potencially dangerous.
MOUNTING OF ThE hAN-

Follow the instructions repor-
ted in the mounting kit.

MOD. 250/500
Follow the instructions repor-
ted in the mounting kit.
MOUNTING ThE SEAT.
Fix the seat (Fig.) following
the instructions reported in the
mounting kit.

MOD. 500 mount the front
light following carefully the
instructions reported in the
mounting kit.

ChARGING ThE BATTERY

Charge the battery at least 8
hours before using the vehi-
cles following the instructions
reported in the instructions
manual.
For versions with on-board
battery charger, use the char-
ger socket.

To charge the battery,
always use a suitable electro-
nic battery charger selected
from those recommended by
the dealer and/or manufactu-
rer. This will guarantee correct
charging and thus prolong the
life of the batteries (fig. ).

Recharge the batteries in
dry, indoor and well ventilated
places. Do not recharge the
batteries in presence of humid
or explosive air.
!
Do not smoke, strike
matches or produce sparks
during
explosion danger.
!
Recharge the batteries
while the vehicle is laying flat
