4 INSTALLATION

4.1

Start-up

• Remove the power unit (1) and the cable (14-15) from their box.
• Assemble the power unit onto the extension pole with the chosen harvesting head. Insert the shaft (10) and tighten the
screws (2) of the clamp connection (3).
• Insert the power supply cable (14-15) into the handgrip hole.
• Join the power supply cable (14-15) with the connector (4) taking care of the male and female connections. Use the
antierror device for the proper connectors insertion.
• Start the tool by means of the ON/OFF switch (7) and check the led light (9) is on.
4.2

Selection and variation of the speed

On the ON/OFF switching sticker press the button (8) to select the motor speed: position I: 1080 rpm, position II: 1150
rpm.
4.3

Procedure for setting/unsetting the power saver function

• Connect the power unit to the battery
• Do not start the tool, keep the speed selector (8) pressed for 5 sec., until the ON red led light (9) flashes confirming the
operation.
• Start the tool with the power saver function inserted. The speed selector LED light (16) flashes.
To unset the power saver funcion, keep the speed selector (8) pressed for 5 sec,. until the ON red light (9) flashes,
