Key to symbols

Warnings
Warnings in this document are framed and
identified by a warning triangle printed
against a grey background.
If there is a danger due to electricity, the
exclamation mark in the warning triangle is
replaced by a lightning symbol.
Signal words at the start of a warning indicate the type
and seriousness of the ensuing risk if measures to prevent
the risk are not taken.
• NOTE indicates that material losses may occur.
• CAUTION indicates that minor to medium injury may
occur.
• WARNING indicates that severe injury may occur.
• DANGER indicates a risk to life.
Important information
Important information where there is no risk
to people or property is indicated with the
adjacent symbol. It is bordered by lines above
and below the text.

Safety precautions

B These instructions must be observed to ensure correct
operation.
B Install and commission the boiler and all accessories in
accordance with the instructions provided.
B Accessories must only be installed by a qualified
installer.
B Use these accessories exclusively in conjunction with
the controllers and boilers listed. Follow the wiring
diagram.
B This accessory may require a different voltage. Never
connect the low voltage side to the 230 V mains or
vice-versa.
B Prior to installing this accessory:
Isolate the power supply (230 V AC) of the boiler and
of other BUS subscribers.
B For wall mounting: never install this accessory in wet
areas.
