Depending on applicable local regulations, there
are three possible configurations for the con-
struction of the combustive air intake:
• (Fig. 5.7a): external air intake (C) ducted to the
stove, with lower grill (provided) for the recir-
culation of ambient air (A) to the side of the
casing;
• (Fig. 5.7b): external air intake (B) outside the
casing, with lower grill (provided) for recircula-
tion of ambient air (A) to the side of the casing;
• (Fig. 5.7c): external air intake (B) outside the
casing;.
The Termopalex unit is equipped (on the right
side) with a special flange (D) having a diameter
of 120 mm for combustive air intake.
The heat recovery grill (E) supplied with the prod-
uct must be installed on the upper part of the
casing.
If the room where the stove is installed has one
or more extractor fans, combustion malfunctions
may occur due to a lack of combustive air.

5.8 Outer hood

A minimum heat escape with a cross-section of
1263 cm2 must be provided.
We recommend using fireproof plasterboard to
create the outer hood.
The control unit must be installed before fitting
the counter hood.
When installing the hood, it is essential to pro-
tect the sliding door frame with nylon to prevent
dust, mortar or other foreign bodies damaging
the sliding system. Remove this protection when
the task is completed.
Provide appropriate side openings for the in-
spection of components, such as the hydraulic
system.
Before carrying out final assembly, it is advisable
to perform a smoke test, i.e. test the operation of
the appliance.
