Before inserting the mains lead into the socket, check whether the voltage you

intend to use complies with that of the machine.

Only connect the machine to a properly installed safety socket, 230 V/50 Hz.
1. Pull the lid of the water tank forwards. Fill the cup supplied with cold water. Pour
the contents of the cup into the water container.
2. Take out the permanent filter and fill it with coffee powder.
3. Replace the permanent filter, put the cup on to the stand and close the lid of the
water tank.
4. Turn the switch to position "ON/1". Percolation now begins. After percolation turn
the switch to position "OFF/0". You may now remove the cup.
Descaling is necessary when the time needed to prepare coffee becomes consider-
ably longer.
Only commercially available descaling products based on citric acid should be
used.
Before cleaning the machine you should always remove the mains lead and wait
until the machine has cooled down. The machine should only be cleaned with a
slightly damp cloth. Do not use any strong detergents or solvents for cleaning. The
cup and permanent filter should be cleaned in the usual manner in soapy water.
This appliance conforms with the CE directives for radio interference suppression
and low-voltage safety and has been built to meet current safety requirements.

We undertake to guarantee the appliance sold by our company for 24 months as of
the date of purchase (cash receipt).
During the life of the warranty we shall provide for the repair or replacement of the
appliance owing to material or manufacturing defects absolutely free of charge.
Proof for the warranty is provided by the purchase document. The replacement and
repair will not be performed free of charge without this proof of purchase.
Should the warranty be valid, please consign the complete appliance in its original
packing together with the cash receipt to your local dealer.
