3- Slide the tyre changer sideways from the pallet with the greatest care.
N.B.: Keep the packing material out of the reach of children as it can be
a source of danger.
Take the packing materials to an appropriate solid waste disposal pick up
point if they are polluting or non-biodegradable.

6.3 ASSEMBLY AND CONNECTION

FITTING THE POST
1) Remove the 17 mm nuts and washers fastening the column already mounted
on the casing.
2) Remove the bracket fastening the column to the pallet.
3) Fit the tilting column on the casing, inserting the three pneumatic lines
leading from the column into the specific hole on the casing.
4) Fasten the column with the nuts and washers removed previously (see Fig.
C1). Tighten fully.
5) Install the filter/lubricator unit (see Fig. C2), using the two 4 mm Allen
screws on the right hand base of the column.
6) Open the left hand side panel of the tyre changer and connect the 3 lines
leading from the column to the line inside the casing, matching the letters
correctly (see Fig. C3).
Close the left hand side panel
7) Fasten the inflator pistol hanger hook on the column (see Fig. C4) using the
two M 6x10 self-tapping screws already on the column.
N.B.: The inflator pistol hanger hook may be mounted on either the right or left
hand side of the column as preferred. However, if the machine is equipped with
the PT 150, the hook can only be mounted on the right hand side.

PNEUMATIC HOOK UP

For correct pneumatic hook-up, proceed as follows:
1) Lower the pedal (5, Fig. E) all the way down to avoid sudden opening of
the clamps.
2) Connect the machine to a compressed air supply (with recommended operat-
ing pressure of 8 - 10 bar) by means of the coupling (1, Fig. C2) supplied as
standard, using a 7 – 8 mm (internal Ø) rubber hose for compressed air.
WARNING!
The compressed air pressure must not exceed 16 Bar.
3) A connection (2, Fig. C5) for an inflation air gun is provided on the rear.
