3.12 Remote Input
• The TMRT 1 can be connected to a remote laser sensor, designation
TMRT 1-56. Plug the remote input into the jack socket located at
the rear end of the instrument. The TMRT 1 will now operate as
normal but the sensing will be via the remote laser.
• The remote sensor may be hand held or mounted on a bracket,
designation TMRT 1-60, enabling permanent mounting.
Note:
The internal optical system is automatically disabled in this mode.
3.13 Battery replacement
• Power requirements: 4 x AAA alkaline cells.
4. Maintenance
Important:
Repair or servicing should only be carried out by SKF.
1. The TMRT 1 is not intended to be exposed to dusty conditions.
2. If excessive wear/corrosion has taken place to the plating on
the housing and another colour begins to show through,
the unit must be returned to SKF for attention.
3. The TMRT 1 should not be subjected to mechanical or thermal
stress, nor should it be subjected to any aggressive substances.
Note:
This instrument has been designed such that it will not give rise to
injury or other harm due to contact, nor will it produce excessive heat,
infrared, electromagnetic or ionising radiation, nor does it have any
non-electrical dangers.
