Do not allow the nebuliser chamber to run dry!
If the device runs dry, it switches off automatically
and a signal tone sounds. After approx. 2 minutes,
the signal tone ceases.
If the red lamp indicates a malfunction:
☞ Switch off the device with the standby push-
button.
☞ Switch (off) the main switch on the rear to "0".
The red lamp goes out.
For troubleshooting:
D see „8. Faults, trouble-shooting" (Seite 46).
☞ Switch the main switch back to "I" (on) and switch
on the device with the standby button.

Ending operation

Press the standby push-button [1].
All LEDs are extinguished and the device stops all
functions.
☞ Switch the main switch on the rear to "0" (off).
☞ Close the tube clamp of the top-up system.
☞ If not used for an extended period of time (more
than 60 minutes) unplug at the mains plug.

Faults, trouble-shooting

8.1

General

The ultrasonic nebuliser was subjected to a thorough
quality inspection at the factory. However, if a fault
should occur you may be able to rectify this yourself
if you observe the following instructions.
On the left side of the control panel, there is a fault
indicator on the standby push-button. If a fault
occurs or the set time (end of timer) is terminated,
this lights up red.
Once the set time has come to an end:

If a fault occurs, first switch off the device.
☞ To do this, press the main switch (2).
If possible, eliminate the cause of the fault and
switch the device on again.
The faults are described as follows:
What fault is present?
Cause of the fault.
☞ Fault remedy.

The device does not switch on / the red lamp lights
up.
The plug is not correctly inserted in the device or
socket.
☞ Check the plug is sitting correctly in the device or
socket.
The main switch on the rear of the device is not set
to on (I).
☞ Switch the main switch to on (I).
Mains fuse missing, defective or incorrect.
☞ Check the mains fuse.
☞ Replace the fuse.

The thermal switch has triggered.
☞ Leave the device to cool down. The device is
functional again after approx. 10 minutes.
The electronics are defective.
☞ Have the device repaired.
