INSTALLING THE CAR SEAT
The red indicator on the handle will no longer be visible.

Lift up the car seat to check that it is correctly attached to
the base on both sides.
IMPORTANT: when the car seat is facing backwards, it can
only be used with the seat reclined in the most horizontal
position (position no. 5), see the label affixed to the side of
the car seat and the relevant indicator on the shell.
Forward-facing position for children with a height of 71 to 95 cm
Fully press down the handle of the
car seat's attachment/release device,
in the front part of the base. A "click"
will indicate that the attachment
mechanism has opened correctly and

the red indicator will be visible on the
handle.

Make sure that the upper surface of the base is free from foreign bodies.
Place the car seat onto the base in a forward-facing position.
Important: the metal brackets on the bottom of the car seat must engage with their
respective attachment points, at the front and back, on the base (ref. 7 page. 26).
NEVER use the central attachment points (ref. 6 page 26) on the base to attach
the brackets of the car seat.
Make sure that both the metal car seat brackets are secured to the attachment
points. Press and release the attachment device handle. A double "click" will
indicate that the car seat has been correctly locked onto the base.
The red indicator on the handle will no longer be visible.
Lift up the car seat to check that it is correctly attached to the base on both sides.
