Problem
Lubricator does
not dispense or
dispenses too slowly
Lubricant dispenses too
quickly
Air between the piston
and the lubricant
Lubricator neck breaks
If the lubricator still fails to operate, contact your local SKF SYSTEM 24 supplier.

Incorrect adjustment
Lubricator is not activated
Lubrication channels are
blocked
The resistance is too high
Incorrect adjustment
Short term temperature

Installed longer period than
the selected time
The ambient temperature
is more than the acceptable
limit
Too high vibration or
impact
Action
Adjust the dispense rate
Activate the lubricator time
set dial
Clear the blockage by
forcing grease with a
grease gun through the
lubrication channels
Make sure that:
- excessive grease can
escape
- supply lines are not
longer than 300 mm
- supply lines have a inner
diameter of 6 mm
- Lubrication point is
suitable for gas driven
lubricators
Adjust the dispense rate
No corrective action
needed
Replace the unit
Replace the unit and
protect the unit against
high ambient temperatures
Support the unit with
the clamp LAPC 50 or
protection plate LAPP 4
