Compare zero point
1. Apply zero gas (for example synthetic air) to the sensor so that the zero point is equivalent
to (4 mA).
2. At the "4...20 mA measuring point" the power supply is checked using a voltmeter. Use of
the display of the Dräger REGARD 2400 is also possible. The prerequisite for this is the
correct configuration of the corresponding channel in the Dräger REGARD 2400.
3. The zero point for 0.4 V (display of the voltmeter) is compared at the measuring point using
the potentiometer "Comparison potentiometer zero point of the sensor".
4. The display on the Dräger REGARD 2400 indicates "0".
Compare reference point (sensitivity)
1. A reference gas (for example: 50 %LEL) must be applied to the sensor.
2. At the "4...20 mA measuring point" the power supply is checked using a voltmeter. Use of
the display of the Dräger REGARD 2400 is also possible.
3. The output power of the gas used is set using the potentiometer "Comparison potentiometer
measuring range of the sensor".
4. At 50 %LEL the Dräger REGARD 2400 displays "50" after comparison; on the voltmeter
a correct display is 1.2 V (equivalent to 12 mA).
