MAKING SCREW JOINTS
Making joints larger than the drilling template
Work procedure is shown in (Fig. 12).
Once the edge stop is removed, the system can be moved along the edge of the work piece.
The centering pin used to hold the last hole and keep the 32mm spacing is supplied in the basic
kit together with the CMT400-2 adaptor chuck. To hold the position when drilling into the edge, use
the 5mm diameter centering pin; use the 7mm diameter centering pin when boring into the surface.
The procedure is the same for drilling with the side stop; the system's position on the work piece is
ensured by the centering pin.

It is possible to combine the fixing of dowel and screw components on a single joint!
WARNING!!!
While drilling, press the chuck adaptor against the drilling template to ensure vertical drilling. The
drilling bush can be supported with the other hand. Always keep the drill in a vertical position so
that the drilling bush touches the CMT400-2 with its entire surface. It is advisable to drill holes
gradually. Always follow safety instructions for drilling work!
