Veneer ceramics
Ceramill Zolid is suitable for veneering with conventional zirconium-
E N
oxide veneer ceramics (e.g., Creation ZI-F). For information on the
thermal-expansion coefficient of Ceramill Zolid blanks, please refer to
the Technical data (see page 24).
For bridges with more than five units and bridges with massive inter-
mediate units, step-by-step long-term cooling to 500 °C is recom-
mended.

Post-processing
After the final sintering has taken place:
▷ If required, rework the zirconium oxide frames without pressure,
using a water-cooled lab turbine and suitable diamond grinding
points (recommended grain approx. 40 μm).
▷ Polish the contact surfaces to the antagonist and to the neighbour-
ing teeth to a high gloss when in high-density sintered condition. We
recommend using the Amann Girrbach polishing set for this (please
also refer to the processing instructions of the polishing kit).
Frame preparation for staining and glazing
After checking the fitting accuracy, contact points and occlusion:
▷ Clean the interior crown surfaces by means of corundum blasting
(aluminum oxide, 110 μm, pressure ≤ 2 bar) and subsequent ultra-
sonic treatment and/or steaming off.
The exterior crown surfaces are not corundum blasted.
