Crown border parameters in the CAD software
For Ceramill Zolid, it should be observed
that the crown border thicknesses are suffi-
cient. Recommended values:
_ 1. Crown border thickness (horizontal):
0.2 mm
_ 2. Off-set (angled): 0.3 mm
_ 3. Angle: 60°
_ 4. Height (vertical): 0 mm
Removal from the blank
Utmost care must be taken when removing the frames from the blank:
▷ Separate the frames by grinding them out using a turbine grinder
(without water-cooling) and a pointed diamond bit (do not use cut-
ting discs).
For trimming and dressing the connectors and smoothing out the
frames, we recommend using the Amann Girrbach polishing set.
Coloring prior to sintering
NOTE:
Ceramill Zolid absorbs the dye liquid more intensely than Ceramill
ZI. The frames get darker.
