HEDGETRIMMER OPERATING MANUAL
1. CONGRATULATIONS
Dear Client,
May we congratulate you for having chosen one of
our products for your garden.
Your HEDGETRIMMER HTG 26/55 has been
manufactured in accordance with the current safety
regulations, which protect the consumer.
This manual describes and illustrates the assembly,
use and maintenance operations, which are re-
quired in order to keep your HEDGETRIMMER in
perfect condition.
TO FACILITATE READING
The illustrations relating to the assembly and ma-
chine description are to be found at the beginning of
this booklet. Keep these pages open while reading
the assembly instructions.
Should your HEDGETRIMMER need servicing or
repair, please contact your retailer or an authorised
service centre.
2. ESSENTIAL SAFETY PRECAU-
TIONS
GENERAL REGULATIONS
PRECAUTIONS:

The
HEDGETRIMMER can cause serious
injury, therefore the following safety in-
structions should be followed:
A2 – All users of the HEDGETRIMMER
must first carefully read the maintenance
and operating manual and familiarise
themselves fully with all controls for cor-
rect operation of the machine.

who have not fully read these instruc-
tions to use the HEDGETRIMMER.
A4 - Do not start up and do not use the
hedgecutter near people (specially chil-
dren) and animals.
During operation, a minimum distance
of 10 m between the machine and other
people should be kept.
A5 – Be aware of any possible dan-
gers which cannot be heard due to the
noise produced by the machine.
A6 – Remove any dangers, cables or
electrical cables from the working area.
A7 - The operator is responsible for any
accidents or hazards that may occur to
other persons or their belongings.
B1 – Only use the HEDGETRIMMER
to cut hedges, bushes and saplings.
Do not use the machine for other pur-
poses.
B2 – Wear clothing and safety equip-
ment suitable for HEDGETRIMMER op-
eration.
During operation wear close-fitting
clothing and not loose or baggy gar-
ments. Do not wear objects which can
get caught in the moving parts.
B3 - Wear approved protective gog-
gles or visor.
B3.1 - Wear approved noise-damping
earplugs.
B3.2 - Wear a safety helmet in areas
where objects are likely to fall.
B4 - Wear sturdy shoes with non-slip
soles.
B5 - Wear sturdy gloves.
