TO 2020
USE
− When switching the toaster on for the first time, set the toaster to its maximum setting but without
any bread in it. Do this twice in order to burn off any residual smells.
− To switch it on, set the timer to the desired position and press the ON switch.
o The higher number (1-6), the higher level of toasting
− The pilot lamp will light up, indicating that the appliance is working.
− When it reached the set time, the appliance will automatically switch itself off, along with the pilot
lamp and a buzzer will sound.
− Toasting can be interrupted at any time by pressing the OFF switch.
TYPES OF BREAD
Thanks to its design the toaster accepts all types of sliced bread, including flapjacks and similar
products such as croissants and pastries. The selected task setting may vary depending on the water
content of the bread that you are using.
Caution:
This appliance is not suitable for any other use, as frying or heating any other type of food
other than that stated in the paragraph above.
CLEANING
− Check that the appliance is unplugged from the mains and completely cold.
− Clean the outer casing with a damp cloth. Never let water get inside the toaster, nor insert any
metal objects in through the bread slot.
Never use abrasive cleaning products.
Crumb removal:
Open the crumb catcher tray and remove the contents.
CABLE COILER
The main cable can be stored wrapping it under the toaster.
Disposal of old electrical appliances.
The European directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires
that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal unsorted
municipal waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the
recovery and recycling of the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on human health and
the environment. The crossed out "wheeled bin" symbol on the product reminds you of your
obligation, that when you dispose of the appliance, it must be separately collected. Consumers
should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of
their old appliance.
