RESISTANCE
• Connect the red test lead to the "VΩmA" jack [9] and the black test lead
to the "COM" jack [7] (the red lead has a positive polarity "+").
• Set the rotary switch [3] in the "Ω" range position.
• Connect the test leads to the resistor to be measured and read the LCD
display.
• If the resistance being measured is connected to a circuit, turn off the
power and discharge all capacitors before applying the test probes.
Note: wait a few seconds for a stable reading when measuring resistors >
1MΩ.

DIODE TEST AND AUDIBLE CONTINUITY TEST
• Connect the red test lead to "VΩmA" jack [9] and the black one to the
"COM" jack [7] (the red lead has a positive polarity "+").
• Set the rotary switch [6] in the
[3] to choose between diode or continuity test. Do not apply input
voltage at this setting!
• For diode tests, connect the red test lead to the anode of the diode to be
tested and the black test lead to the cathode of the diode. The approx.
forward voltage drop of the diode will be displayed. If the connection is
reversed, the display will show "OL".
• For continuity tests, connect the test leads to two points of the circuit to
be tested. If continuity exists, the built-in buzzer will sound.
Notes: forward DC current: ±0.5mA
backward DC voltage: ±1.5V
open circuit voltage: ±0.5V
buzzer sounds when resistance < 50Ω
TEMPERATURE
• Set the rotary switch [6] in the °C/°F position and use the select button
[3] to choose between °C and °F. Do not apply input voltage at this
setting!
• Insert the cathode (black pin) in the "COM" jack [7], and the anode (red
pin) in the "VΩmA" jack [9].
• Use the other end of the thermocouple to measure temperatures.
